An innovative material for even better performance
Unlike a brushed material (such as a fleece or a brushed jersey) that gets crushed under pressure and gets worn with abrasion (piling), this material with 3D construction maintains a thin layer of insulating air in any situation: it is known to be more resilient.
This innovative material is less permeable to air and will suffice on its own for longer than a fleece in windy conditions.Once on, the sweatshirt is much more breathable than a softshell.
Product Testing
We carry out 2 types of thermal testing:\n- either a test of the material of our fleeces.\n- or testing on a thermal manikin in a thermal chamber. We recreate the temperature, wind (3mph) and humidity conditions that you encounter in the mountains hiking at 3mph in our tests.\nThese tests allow us to validate our design choices. So we can adapt our thermal insulation where you most need it.
